The plan was to drive to California the day before Thanksgiving...Didn't quite happen. Due to a blizzard hitting us, the roads were to icy for us to drive. We tried, though. Woke up at 4am, on the road by 4:30. It took us an hour an half to drive just 30 miles. We turned around and headed home though we were disappointed and sad. After texting (too early to call) both sets of parents to let them know we were not going to make it, we soon got a call from Stephanie saying, "Can you leave for the airport now?" We rushed to downsize all our luggage that was packed in the car, and got a ride from a friend (Fred). (Thanks Rachelle and Darryl for breakfast!) 2 hours late we were in California!
We had a fabulous visit despite the first 2 days of having the flu (Sorry Jeff about the car:) lol). We just had an awesome time with everyone.
